Mr.
Byron Griffith was Chris Robinson's business manager and
agent.
He may still be. I don't know. Byron's job was to find talented people.
At one time I thought I wanted to an actor. Byron was kind enough to
see
if I really wanted the job. He introduced me around and at the time
(1962
or there about) let me participate in his "showcase" parties. These
parties
were an informal gathering at his home in the Hollywood Hills for
producers,
would-be actors (yours truly), writers, and directors for the purpose
of
making a deal. I got this opportunity to present myself through my
friend
Chris Robinson. Chris, if I forgot to thank you, I am now thanking
you...especially
for being there when I crashed my motorcycle and during my recovery
being
the taxi. Anyway...I was a presenter for only one of these parties. I
was
not an actor.
