BEFORE:
Blue Ribbon Tag & Label, recommended Tom to one of their clients to do a photograph for a color brochure. After seeing the proofs it was decided that the "black cord" must go. (The cord was not removable at the time of photography). The 35 mm color negative was put on a Kodak Photo CD (No longer available) by Thomson Photo Imaging of Coral Gables, FL, (No longer in business) and then modified on Tom's computer. The 17mb digital file was taken to Franklin Press for color separation and printing. |
AFTER:
"Stainless steel! What an opportunity," said Tom on a preliminary visit. Very small rooms, evenly lit with fluorescence did not allow bringing in lights. The white walls provided a natural "light tent" for the machinery. A very tight deadline prodded Tom to use the available lighting and handheld flash by my free lance associate, Bob Owen. All color corrections of the digital file were done on the computer while color corrections of the color prints were done in Tom's color lab. |
